Terms of Service
Last updated: October 1, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Ahmed Aziz, an individual based in Egypt who operates FastDM ("FastDM", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the FastDM website, dashboard and automations (the "Service"). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use FastDM for a business or for someone else, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf, and "you" includes them.
1. The Service
FastDM automates replies to comments on Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages. You choose posts and keywords. When someone comments one of your keywords, FastDM can post a public reply under the comment and send the commenter a private reply (a DM) with your message and link.
FastDM is in beta. Features may change as we improve it (see section 12).
2. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, and use FastDM for a business, brand or professional activity.
- You may connect only Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages that you own or are authorized to manage.
- Give accurate information, and keep your email address current, because we use it for important notices.
- Keep your password secure and don't share your login. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once at support@fastdm.net if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Instagram, Facebook and Meta
FastDM works through Meta's official APIs. When you connect an account, you authorize FastDM to act on that account's behalf, within the permissions you grant. That means reading the posts you automate and the comments on them, posting replies, and sending private replies.
You must follow Meta's terms and policies, including:
- the Instagram Terms of Use and Community Guidelines;
- Meta's Terms of Service and Community Standards;
- Meta's rules for messaging.
Meta can change, limit or remove its features and APIs at any time. FastDM can only do what Meta allows.
FastDM isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram, Facebook and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.
4. Trials, plans and payment
Free trial
Each Instagram account and each Facebook Page gets one 7-day free trial. It starts when the account is first connected to FastDM, and it isn't renewed by disconnecting the account, reconnecting it, or connecting it from another FastDM login. No payment card is needed.
When a trial ends, that account's automations pause, and your setups are kept so you can switch them back on. If no paid plan follows, we delete the account's stored access token 30 days after the trial ends, and you'll need to reconnect it.
Pro plan
Pro costs USD 8 per month, plus any applicable taxes. It includes every FastDM feature for the accounts connected to your FastDM login. Paid plans are being introduced during the beta. Until they are available, accounts run on a free trial or founder access.
Once paid plans are available:
- Pro is billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Payments aren't refundable, including for partial months, except where the law requires a refund.
- If a payment fails, we may pause your automations until it's resolved.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to you.
Promotion codes
We may offer discounts through promotion codes, for example a percentage off for a set number of months. A code applies only as described when it's issued, it has no cash value, and it can't be combined with other offers unless we say so. After the discount period, the regular price applies.
5. Founder access
Founder access is a limited offer we extend by personal invitation, through a single-use invite code. It works as follows:
- What it includes: the features of the Pro plan, free of charge, for the FastDM login that redeemed the code. It doesn't automatically include add-ons or higher plans that we may introduce later.
- How long it lasts: "lifetime" means for as long as FastDM operates the Service. It doesn't refer to the lifetime of any person or business. If we ever discontinue the Service, founder access ends with it, and we'll give at least 30 days' notice.
- It's personal: founder access can't be transferred, sold, shared or moved to another login. Deleting your FastDM account ends it.
- Same rules as Pro: founder access has the same limits and fair-use terms as Pro (section 6).
- It can be withdrawn if you materially breach these Terms or abuse the Service. Where reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Invite codes have no cash value and can't be resold or exchanged.
6. Fair use and Meta's limits
What's included
FastDM doesn't cap or meter replies or DMs. Each FastDM login can connect one Instagram professional account and one Facebook Page, and automate up to 100 posts per connected account. Triggers have size limits, shown in the dashboard, that keep messages within Meta's rules.
Meta's limits
Meta sets its own rules on how many requests and messages an account and an app may send, and how. For example, Meta allows one private reply per comment, and only for a limited time after the comment is posted.
When Meta's limits are reached, or Meta is unavailable, replies and DMs may be delayed or refused. FastDM retries temporary failures several times over a few minutes. If Meta still refuses, that comment may get no reply or DM. We can't guarantee that every comment receives a reply or a DM, especially when a post gets many comments at once.
Using FastDM fairly
To keep FastDM reliable for everyone, and in good standing with Meta, you agree to:
- use FastDM for your own business or brand, or one you're authorized to manage. Agencies may manage clients' accounts, but each client needs its own FastDM login and plan;
- not resell FastDM, share logins, or run the Service for third parties under one plan;
- not create extra logins to get more free trials or to get around these limits;
- not generate artificial comments or engagement to trigger automations;
- not try to get around Meta's limits or FastDM's safeguards.
We may slow down, pause or limit automations whose volume or effects put the Service, or its standing with Meta, at risk. That includes many spam reports, or behavior Meta flags. When we do, we'll tell you why and help you fix it.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use FastDM to send, link to or promote:
- malware, phishing, or pages that collect passwords or payment details under false pretenses;
- scams, fraud, or deceptive or misleading offers, including promising something in exchange for a comment that you don't deliver;
- illegal goods or services, or content that's illegal where you or your audience are;
- content that harasses, threatens, or promotes hate or violence against people based on protected characteristics;
- sexual content involving minors, or adult content sent to people who haven't asked for it;
- content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy;
- spam, or messages that Meta's policies don't allow.
You also may not:
- interfere with the Service or its security;
- probe, scan or test our systems without our written permission;
- scrape the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- access another user's data.
We may remove or disable any automation, message or link that breaks these rules.
8. Your content and responsibilities
You own the content you add to FastDM: keywords, reply and DM texts, links and saved replies. You give us a limited licence to host, process and send it, only to provide the Service to you.
You're responsible for:
- your content and the offers you make;
- the websites you link to;
- following advertising, consumer protection and data protection laws, including telling your audience what happens when they comment your keyword, where the law requires it.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including data from Instagram and Facebook, and how you can delete it.
10. Processing commenters' data for you
When FastDM answers comments, it processes the commenters' data (comment ID and text, commenter ID, and username or name) on your behalf. For that data, you're the controller and FastDM is your processor. FastDM:
- processes it only to carry out the automations you set up, and for no other purpose;
- doesn't store the comment text or the commenter's identity, and deletes its processing records after 90 days, as described in the Privacy Policy;
- keeps the data confidential, and protects it with the security measures in the Privacy Policy;
- uses only the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, under written terms that protect the data. We announce changes there;
- helps you answer requests from commenters exercising their rights;
- tells you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting this data.
You're responsible for having a lawful basis to answer commenters, and for any notice to your audience the law requires.
11. Our intellectual property
FastDM, its software, design and brand belong to us and our licensors. These Terms give you the right to use the Service, but no ownership of it.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep FastDM available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, problems with our providers, or changes by Meta can affect it.
We may add, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan or founder access includes, we'll tell you in advance.
13. Suspension and termination
You can stop using FastDM at any time: disconnect your accounts, and ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account, or stop specific automations:
- if you breach these Terms;
- if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us, other users or Meta;
- if the law or Meta requires it;
- if a payment remains unpaid.
Where reasonable, we'll warn you first. When your account closes, your automations stop, and we delete your data as the Privacy Policy describes. Sections 8 to 11 and 14 to 19 still apply afterwards.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular, we don't guarantee:
- that every comment will be detected or answered;
- that Meta will deliver every message;
- that FastDM will achieve any particular business result.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill;
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.
16. Indemnity
You'll compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the law or Meta's terms, to the extent they're caused by you.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law or Meta requires a faster change. If you keep using FastDM after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can stop using FastDM before then.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The courts of Cairo, Egypt, have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. If you're a consumer, you keep the protections that the mandatory laws of your country of residence give you.
19. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- Severability: if any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver: not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the Service.
- Force majeure: we're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages or changes at Meta or our providers.
- Language: if we translate these Terms, the English version prevails.
